Adult Bible Class - September through May. Please contact
either Pastor for class information.

Altar Guild
- is a group of members who prepare the altar for worship
each Sunday. Duties include placing the proper paraments on the
altar, preparing the communion ware, and cleaning and storing
communion ware after the service. Please contact the church
office if you are interested in joining the Altar Guild.
Bible Information Class -
for those
who are not members of our congregation or of one in our
fellowship. This class is either held privately with the
pastor or in a class setting. The purpose of this class is
to give a basic understanding of the main teachings of the
Bible. Upon completion of the class, a person is eligible
to become a member. Please contact either Pastor for class

Board of Education -
2010 members are (Chairman) Kevin Hennig, Matt Beyersdorf, Jeff
Pitt, Tom Ross,
and Craig Schuette. The Board of Education meets on
the second Thursday each month.
Board of Elders -
2010 members are (Chairman) Joe Tafel, Tom Fryer, Len
Lehman, Don Schwab, and Howard Festerling. The Elders meet at 7:00 PM
on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
Board of Trustees
- 2010 members are (Chairman) Daren Roehl, John Pifher, Jess Peil, , Rich Mieske, Ron
Shaffer, and Denis Carey. The Trustees meet at 7:30 PM on the first Tuesday of
each month.
Choir - is open to all communicant members
of the congregation. The choir rehearses 7:00 PM Thursdays from September through May.
There are no tryouts.

Confirmation Class - for children in grades six through eight.
Public school confirmation class is held at 4:30 PM on Thursdays
during the school year. Students in our Lutheran
Elementary
School have Confirmation Class as part of the regular school
day.
Council -
2010 members are President Mike Krueger, Secretary Steve Umphrey ,
Financial Secretary Gary Daenzer, Treasurer Dan Wamhoff, Joe Tafel (Board of Elders), Kevin Hennig
(Board of Education), and Daren Roehl (Board of Trustees) . The
Council meets at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month.
Deacons -
2010 Head Deacon is Gale Krueger.
Fellowship Committee - schedules
opportunities both for Christians to enjoy one another's company
and also for mutual encouragement. Contact Angie Beyersdorf for more information or call the
church office at 989-835-4181.
Home and School Society - Recognizing
what a wonderful blessing our
Lutheran Elementary School
is from our gracious God for us and for our children, we desire
fittingly to support and give aid to our School and its faculty.
Home and School Society will be open to all the members of Good
Shepherd and the parents of all students.
Please call the church office for more
information. The Home and School Society has prepared a
School and Preschool Wish List.
Ladies' Guild - This group is open to all
ladies in the congregation. The purpose of this organization is
twofold: 1. To promote of the spiritual welfare of our
congregation through the study of God's Word, mutual
encouragement in Christian living, and support of the work of
the church including Christian charities; particularly those of
our Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. 2. To render aid and
comfort in cases of sickness and need as we are able.
Meetings are normally held at 7:15 PM on the first Tuesday
of September through May. The officers, through May 2010, are
Pam Krueger (President), Norma Lewis (Vice-President), Joanne
Atkinson (Secretary), and Diana Johnson (Treasurer). Please call the church office

Sunday School and
Vacation Bible School -
Sunday
School is open to all children from ages 3 through eighth
grade from September through May.
Vacation Bible School and a Christmas for Kids
are shorter educational opportunities open to all children, ages
3 through eight grade. VBS is generally held in late June, and
Christmas for Kids on either the first or second Saturday in
December. Please call the church office for more information at

Teens - Teen
Bible Class is the cornerstone of our teen group. Although our
teen group also does activities of a wide variety in serving the
congregation and for entertainment purposes, the heart of our
youth group is our Teen Bible Class that meets every Sunday
morning from September through May. Please Email Pastor Quinn
for more information.
Ushers -
Voters
- open to male communicant members
18 or older who wish to be involved in the administration of the
congregation. Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday
of January, April, July, October, and December each year.
